This place is amazing! I highly recommend the Burnt ends ( Brisket) Saturday special ! The best BBQ I've ever had!

Sugar foot was a pleasant little surprise in whatever town this was in that we passed through! It was a Saturday, around 5:30. The place was empty. They have a "burnt ends" special only on Saturdays and that is what I got. It was actually really good!!! The outside looks kind of shabby, but the inside is actually decorated quite cool! It definitely doesn't match the exterior. It is clean and friendly inside. The lack of stars comes from our service unfortunately. We had about 8 people in our group, but like I said before, the place was empty. Our waitress took our drink orders and we got those pretty quick. It took about 10 minutes later for her to come back and take our order. The food took a good 25-30 minutes to receive. It was a pretty long wait for a BBQ joint. The food was good and the sauce was pretty good too. I would recommend calling in to place an order if you want to go here. The wait was almost unbearable with angry, hungry men! The waitress was also not too enthusiastic. I think she was in high school. She refilled some of our drinks, others we refilled ourselves, and she never checked on us, we had to holler at her to come over - she was playing on her phone. But I guess it couldn't been worse, no one was rude, she was just a teenager.

One of the best BBQ joints around these parts. Between the friendly staff & great food it's definitely worth a little drive.

Nice place for some BBQ and a cold beer on highway 54. Nothing fancy here, just friendly, fast service and good BBQ.

I have driven past this place for over four years and I finally stopped to try it out over the Christmas break. They are a solid barbeque joint and I'm glad that I stopped. Their staff was friendly and the food was out quick and was good, not great. I'd definitely recommend stopping by if you're ever in Fort Scott but I can't say I'd make the journey just to eat there.

The environment here is great (this is what I think of when I think of country barbeque). The owner and staff are very friendly and accomodating. The ribs are good (even though I'm generally not a huge fan of St. Louis style). I would say that the sweet sauce is the most memorable of the options. The slaw is also good (but not the best I've had). Unfortunately, they were out of cornbread when I went. The sweet tea was not sweet enough for my Georgia tastebuds. It's worth a stop if you're in the area.

Excellent "Q"... An eclectic little country place. Pulled pork sandwich for lunch. Red potato salad was homemade, great beans. Cornbread was ok, but enough butter fixes all that. Reasonable prices. Staff was on the spot with drinks, etc. if you're passing by its too good to pass up.
